The bass guitar is Ibanez’s core product. They are one of the top selling companies for bass guitars. During the 70’s, it was famous for having developed their neck-through musician basses. Today, it has extended its product line to Luthite-bodied Ergodynes.
The Ibanez AEB Series offers a variety of acoustic electric basses with different sound appeals for the player. Some will describe it as punchy low end sound that sounds good with or without amplifiers. It is made of high quality mahogany with Fishman Sonicore Pickups and Shape Shifter Preamps also by Ibanez.
For those with classic tastes, the AEB10 is made of quality spruce and mahogany. It can also be available in a natural finish or a dark violin sunburst finish depending on preference. The built in 3-band tone and shape control will add to the deep bottom sound.
The Ibanez EWB20 WNENT Acoustic Bass comes in a Cordia top, back and sides with a mahogany neck. The fretboard is made out of rosewood with D’ Addario compatible strings.
One of the most expensive in their line of acoustic electric basses, the Ibanez SR5005E Prestige 5-String has a beautiful, sleek mahogany body with a wenge neck, top and back.
Ibanez also has a series of semi acoustic electric guitars found in their Artcore series. The Ibanez AFB200BS Semi Acoustic Bass Guitar is made of up maple from top to back and sides and bound rosewood inlay and bridge.
When it comes to basses, Ibanez is definitely at the front of the line and doesn’t disappoint.
