The dashboard is something that is taking a good memory always and the user does not even goes to use the same for his or her own purpose. The dashboard is piled up with the widgets and the apps that you don’t come up with until you ask for the same. Disabling the dashboard is an option that always works and works great in order to free up the memory of the Mac so that the same could be used by the programs necessary for the user.

Non-volatile RAM of the Mac can also be refreshed in order to get enhancements in the speed. This would result into a good speed but not permanently and you would be required to do seldom. This helps in getting the fresh configurations for the smoother running of the Mac OS. This would remove any issues with the configurations of the Mac.

There are certain options that you are not using whereas the same are utilizing the good sources of your Mac. For example, you might not be using the internet or the Bluetooth of your Mac but these system utilities are still working on. These types of system options must be off while you are not using them.
