HTC Freestyle Reviews and SpecsDescription:

To build a smarter phone, we kept it simple.

User-friendly. Friend-friendly too. With HTC Sense, all your messages, emails, texts, tweets and status updates are grouped by person for easy viewing and follow-up. Add up to 12 contacts on your home screen for one-touch messaging, emailing and calls.

More people, less passwords. With the Friend Stream app, you can keep up with all the social network updates in one easy place.  So you always know what’s going on, without actually going on Facebook and Twitter.

Infinite options. With the optional data plan, you can start with the basics and go from there.  With all the built-in apps, wallpapers and widgets to choose from, you can build a phone that works just right for you.

Reviews:

1. HTC Freestyle (AT&T) by Cnet

Though HTC made its mark in the United States with an extensive line of high-end smartphones, the company is now trying to diversify. Just consider one of its latest handsets, the HTC Freestyle for AT&T. It looks like your standard Android phone, but the BREW-powered Freestyle is billed as one of the carrier’s “quick messaging devices.” You get a touch screen, HTC’s Sense, and HTC’s Friend Stream, but the midrange feature set and minimalist interface set the Freestyle apart.

2. HTC Freestyle Review by PhoneArena

For those of you who may like the look of a smartphone, and want something cool like a touchscreen, but don’t really need a smartphone, there’s a new option…the HTC Freestyle from AT&T. The Freestyle is the carrier’s first device to use Qualcomm’s new BREW MP platform, but layered nicely over it is the iconic HTC Sense UI (or some version of it), which makes the device fairly easy to use. But with a current price of $99 with contract for the Freestyle, it is more than other smartphones, such as the iPhone 3GS for $49, and the same price as the HTC Inspire 4G Android smartphone.

3. HTC Freestyle (AT&T) by PcMag

We’ve been predicting the eventual end of obstinate, crippled feature phones for some time now. But the HTC Freestyle could change that—or at least delay the inevitable. It’s the first in a volley of BREW MP cell phones long promised from AT&T. The Freestyle’s slick HTC Sense UI layer makes this a feature phone like no other. AT&T has also refrained from its usual practice of requiring a data plan with the Freestyle, meaning that the Freestyle can serve a wide berth of customers with varying needs. All of this adds up to an easy Editors’ Choice win for AT&T feature phones—but hold that thought, as the picture is a bit more complicated than it appears.
