1. Illustrator’s Blend Tool: A Comprehensive Guide

In Adobe Illustrator, the Blend Tool can help you create impressive color blends. But there is more to it than you might know. This comprehensive guide can help you unlock your creative potential and teaches the features, shortcuts, and in depth methods that the Blend Tool has to offer.

If you are using Illustrator for detailed imagery creation, the Blend Tool can be your most important tool. Compared to the Gradient Mesh Tool, the Blend Tool is a Live tool, meaning that you can change its object or shape, its color or position, and the blend will be updated live. You can create blends either with the Blend Tool or the Make Blend command. One thing to remember though, the Blend Tool takes a lot of RAM, so it may slow down your computer.

2. Blending Gradients in Illustrator

How do you make a gradient bend to the shape you are creating? The answer is in Illustrator’s under-used Blend tool.

3. Blending Gradients In Illustrator Tutorial [Video]

Learn How To Blend Gradients In Adobe Illustrator. In This Tutorial We Will Show You Blending Gradients In A Quick And Easy Way Using Illustrator. So Let’s Get Started Open Up Illustrator And Use Rectangle Tool To Draw Some Shapes And Change The Colors Of All Then Select All The Shapes. Now From Tools Palette Double Click On The Blend Tool And Turn The Spacing To Smooth Color. Press Ctrl B To Blend Now You Will See The Color You Have Given To Those Shapes Is Blending With Each Other And When You Bend This Shape You Will See It Is Expanding With The Rotation Of The Shape. Try This By Yourself.

4. Blending, shading and the blend tool in Illustrator

The Blend Tool really is a great tool that can not only help you create custom gradients, but can help you create custom shapes and effects easily. In this case, I’m using it for creating gradients, but it’s really a fun tool that’s worth playing around with.

5. Illustrator gradients

Illustrator gradients are a necessary evil. They complicate things, are confusing at times and can be created and used in multiple ways. In this tutorial I’m simply going to show the three different ways of creating a gradient. All the illustrator gradients will look the same or ‘similar’ , however, they will be created using three completely different methods.

6. Blending colors in Adobe Illustrator

As you may already know, there are a number of different ways to blend colors together in Illustrator. Most designers typically gravitate to the Gradient window and the Gradient tool, but both of these options have their limits. There are other ways to create perfect, custom color blends.

A camera lens is good for a software icon, logo, or just as a graphic for use in any design. Although, the image appears detailed, the process of creating it involves little more than simply layering objects with different fills and gradients to give a three-dimensional illusion.

4. Logo Design Process Tutorial

One of the main aspects of the branding process includes logo development. Your logo, or brand mark, in other words, needs to reflect your brand accurately, as it will play a huge role in your brand recognition. This however doesn’t mean that the branding process ends when you’ve developed your logo, branding takes a lot of time, commitment, managing skills and finally, the ability to reflect the image you want others to have of you and your business This tutorial is intended to benefit both our potential clients, so they can have a fully comprehensive overview of our logo design process and methods; and many of our users, interested in the process of designing and developing a logo. For the purpose of this tutorial, we’re going to design and develop a logo for an imaginary company, called “LTD”, short from Logo Tutorial by DryIcons.

5. Create a Vibrant 3D Pixel Type Treatment

Using a free font, gradients, and Illustrator 3D filter, you will easily create a type treatment that you can apply to many other fonts.

6. Creating a crazy cool logo

I’m a huge fan of typography and logo design, even though I havent worked on too many logo design projects I had the opportunity to express my love on a few, but at the same time, very pleasant ID projects. One of them was in 2005 for a company called Zagora. When they hired us to create their ID design they said that they wanted something very unique and modern. Besides of that we spent like 4 hours talking about ideas and concepts in order to know exactly what we would have to do. In this post I will show you how we created the logo. I will skip the drawing parts, yes there were tons of drawings before going to the computer, because when they stole my computer and backups in 2006 they took all my photos of the drawings.

7. How to Make a Cartoon Style Cereal Box Logo in Adobe Illustrator CS3

I have this problem every time I go grocery shopping: whenever I go down the cereal isle it takes me forever to pick out a box to buy. I’m so wrapped up in looking at the box design, especially those super tasty display logos! The other day I was caught staring at the new box of Lucky Charms drooling, not over the thought of marshmallowy moons and clovers, but over the beautiful new logo. So I set out to make one of my own in Adobe Illustrator. In the process I came up with some quick and easy techniques that look great! I am pleased to share them with you here.

8. Design a Print-Ready Beer Label in Adobe Illustrator

Alright folks, it’s time to roll up the sleeves and get down to business with this full-featured Adobe illustrator CS3 tutorial. This one takes you from setup to production of a really cool beer label, although this could be useful for any bottled concoction of your choosing. We get to cover all kinds of useful Tools like Type On A Path, Live Trace, and the Opacity Mask. My buddy brewed his own beer and I made him labels using this technique, and they were an instant hit! I’m very happy to show you how it’s done. OK, let’s do it!

9. Suns Logo

Designing a logo is a common task in Adobe Illustrator. In this final project, we will sum up what we have learnt so far in Illustrator to create your own custom logo. I will show you the process in drawing a logo and hopefully you have more confidence after this tutorial.

13. Goplan 2.0 logo creation process

Goplan had a facelift a few weeks ago with the launch of v2 and we thought it might be interesting to tell you guys about the creative process behind the new logo. The first thing we had to do was come up with the new logo idea, so I sent an email to everyone at WBS asking them to write down at least five objects/images they associate with Goplan. The results were pretty interesting. 14. Digg Logo Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

14. Digg Logo – Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

15. Create a Logo for Your Feature Posts – 7Up Logo

For the past few days, whenever I could find time I have been working on putting together a simple tutorial that will show you how to create a logo for my feature post “Heads Up Seven Up” Blogroll. The logo was created with Adobe Illustrator, which is a bit of a specialized illustration program. The reason I choose to use Illustrator for something like this is that it creates vector graphics, which is quite different from Photoshop with creates bitmap graphics. With vector graphics you can shrink, enlarge, twist and shape the images without messing up the quality of the image. I can also import the file created in Illustrator right into Photoshop to create a smaller image for web!

16. Logo Design Process and Walkthrough for Vivid Ways

I recently finished up a project with Scott McIntyre of Vivid Ways and Jon Phillip of Spyre Studios. My part in the project was to work on a new logo design for the Vivid Ways website and brand. Here’s my design process and a walkthrough of how the final logo is created in Adobe Illustrator.

17. Tutorial: Web 2.0 Logo Reflection in Vector format with Illustrator

You will probably find dozens, if not hundreds of tutorials on how to do this in Photoshop, but I’m going to show you how to do it in Illustrator (vector). The advantage? You can scale it up for a roadside billboard if you like. That’s the power of vector graphics. All you have to do is make it once and you can change the size as many times as you like, without losing quality. I’m tempted to say that this (logo reflection) effect might actually be easier to do in Illustrator in the first place. Man, the web is definitely a creature that likes to follow trends. Let’s break one shall we? . . .

18. Gameworld Logo Tutorial

This blueprint technique has been seen just about everywhere—even on the cover of The Photoshop Help Desk Book by Dave Cross. This is a quick demo using a blend of live effects, filters, and even a little gradient mesh to create a seemingly complex logo treatment.

Have been you see my older post about a shirt design? May be if you really concern to look at the small ornaments on the front side of the shirt, you will find these image there. Yes, it’s the image that I used in early shirt design post. Simply combine a few simple objects and give theme three color combination, and here as result…
