In this tutorial, we’re going to create a 3D Typography based design. All the elements will revolve around the centerpiece and theme: dreaming. The word will dictate the entire layout and control the space by allowing everything else to emerge from within. The trees will grow out of the letters; the mountains will show themselves behind the word and overshadow the glowing moon.
This tutorial is made up of three parts—the background, the text itself, and some final extra effects. So first of all we’re going to make a background. To do this we create a new document in Photoshop. I made mine 1920 x 1200 because I want this image to sit on my laptop background.
In just a few simple steps, you can add a calm, easy-going text effect — great for evening events and crisp banners.
In this tutorial I will show you how to mix some vectors with letters to create a really nice design.

Taking 3D objects into Photoshop is going to get more popular thanks to the latest release of Photoshop Extended. But you don’t need Adobe’s latest high-end version of Photoshop to create some unique 3D effects – this masterclass works for Photoshop CS and above.
7. Use Photoshop CS5 Extended to Create a Simple 3D Logo – Screencast
Today, Zorana Gee, Adobe Photoshop Product Manager will walk us through a simple design project using Photoshop CS5 Extended’s 3D tools. In this tutorial you will receive a brief introduction to the 3D workspace in Photoshop and receive some great tips on how to incorporate 3D into your Photoshop workflow.
Zorana has been on the Photoshop team for over 10 years and has been involved with Photoshop Extended from the beginning. in this tutorial I will show you how to create a water text. Even though it might look complex it’s a very simple effect. We will be using the new Repoussé then some stock photos to create the effect.
Adobe has just released the CS5 family and you can download the trials including the new Photoshop CS5 Extended. With this new version we have the Repoussé feature which allows us to create 3D objects in Photoshop. The last tutorial I showed you how to create a simple extruded text, now in this tutorial I will show you the Inflate option in Repoussé.
With the Inflate we can create really cool 3D objects by inflating the front and back faces of the 3D objects, the result is very cool and reminds a lot the work of Jeff Koons with the metallic balloons sculpture.
So in this tutorial we will use Repoussé with the Inflate options to create a metallic inflated text. The effect is pretty simple and it won’t take more than 20 minutes to achieve the effect.
This Photoshop tutorial is thought for greedy people (like me!). Today we will create a delicious chocolate-covered text effect. We will create some details on paper, then we will work with layer styles to achieve the nice result.
Here is the final result; a water effect typography. Now you don’t have to use as many splashes as I have, as I have added a lot of ‘splash effects’ to give you the idea of how they can be incorporated. It is a nice touch to have one or two but overall this is a fun easy tutorial to do that will give you a cool water effect.
In this tutorial, I will show you the steps I took to Create Awesome Splashing Water Text Effect in Photoshop. Along the way, you will learn how you can incorporate water splash brushsets into your text and create great effect from that. Have a try!

In this Photoshop tutorial you will learn how to create colorful 3D text effect. Create 3D effect in Photoshop is difficult, therefore to create effect like this, we will use a little bit Xara 3D, but you can use Cinema 4D or 3DsMax, so you will learn also some Xara 3D techniques. Mainly, we will work with Layer styles and Pen tool. As you can see from the preview of tutorial, text effect will be very glorious. This kind of text effect can be used for making a birthday poster, or creating any other celebration postcard.
In this tutorial I will show you how to create a retro-inspired typography poster design in Photoshop playing with stock photos, blend modes and filters. We will also use a metal grid texture for a grungy background and paper texture to give a nice retro feel to our design.
In this tutorial, I will show you techniques involved to create this rather cool, 3D typography with abvanced Texturing and Lighting Effect in Photoshop. Some steps can be a little tricky and you do need a lot of patience to complete this tut, but why not have a try?

So in this tutorial I will show you how to create a text effect using a photo of a rope and the Puppet Warp tool. This tutorial will only work with the CS5 version and I believe it won’t take you too much time.
